I was in Cork City last week, and I stumbled upon the house in which I was born, all those years ago:

It’s near the big church in Turner’s Cross.

The years have not been kind!

This is near that house where you can see in the window, and there are hundreds of flipflops nailed to the wall.

It’s like a summery version of the serial killer’s house from that movie “7″.

I spent the afternoon looking out the window at the snow and playing along to “intro” by the XX.

It’s a wonderful track, a pity it’s so short, it seems unfinished somehow.

Did you spot me in the Dark Knight Rises?

I was quite surprised to see that I actually made it to the finally cut of the film, the Dark Knight Rises for the crowd scenes at the Gotham Rogues match.

I didn’t spot myself the first time around as the film was quite boring, but when I rewatched it on Blueray, I could make out my 2011 touring hoody quite clearly.
